Evan Bernard


After studying film and advertising at Syracuse University and St. Martin’s School of Art, EVAN BERNARD began his directing career shooting music videos for the Beastie Boys, eventually even receiving a mention in the group’s 1994 hit “Get It Together.” Bernard went on to work with a number of different artists, including Moby, Dixie Chicks, Green Day, Slayer and Robbie Williams. For his music videos, Bernard has been recognized by—and received awards from—MVPA, ACM, CMA and CMT.

As a commercial director, Bernard excels at creating youth-oriented comedic spots, which is evident in his work with ESPN, Amazon, Nike, Adidas, PlayStation, McDonalds, MasterCard, Puma and Red Stripe. He has also produced short films, including the YouTube Award-nominated POUND, and SIGNIFIED SIGNIFIER, which playfully critiques ad industry buzzwords. Bernard has been honored with three Bronze Clio awards, a One Show Silver Pencil award, and a One Show Gold Pencil award. In 2015, his “Tax Day” mockumentary for Snickers received a 2015 Cannes Lion.
